Responsibilities

Board-certified/board-eligible Breast and General Surgeon will work within the Grand View Surgical Associates office to treat and care for patients who need both general and breast surgery. There is a full breast surgery program that needs additional support. The Breast Surgeon will work with a full complement of breast support staff, along with the cancer support program.

The general surgery side will share call with the other surgeons. Grand View has both minimally invasive and da Vinci® robotic surgeries for the general surgery population.

This new surgeon will work with a full experienced team, including skilled APPs.

The physician/surgeon is responsible for providing quality care for Grand View Health patients that fall under the physician's field of training, including, but not limited to, diagnosis, treatment, coordination of care, preventive care and health maintenance for all patients. In addition, the physician/surgeon is responsible for promoting the GVH mission, vision and values, as well as collaboratively working with team members at all levels to achieve them. They must be cognizant of, and comply with, all GVH policies and procedures, as well as pertinent state and federal regulations.
 

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Doctorate degree required.
• Successful completion of a fellowship in Breast Surgery.
• BC/BE in Surgery.
