Responsibilities

Under overall direction of the PM&R Manager and clinical supervision of the Lead Physical Therapist, the staff Physical Therapist examines and evaluates patients and administers physical therapy interventions in collaboration with the referring physician. The Physical Therapist demonstrates competency in skills necessary to care for and manage primarily adolescent, adult and geriatric-age patients in an outpatient setting.

Schedule: At the Colmar Outpatient PT Center. Monday and Wednesday, 11:30am–8:00pm; Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm.

 

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy (or related field if a more advanced degree in PT is held) required.
• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. This requirement is waived for individuals who were licensed prior to the requirement of the Doctorate degree for licensure.
• Over 1 to 3 years of experience as a Physcial Therapist required.
• Master's degree in Physical Therapy (or related field if a more advanced degree in PT is held) preferred.

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:

• Physical Therapist, licensed upon hire, required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 2 weeks of hire required.
